HOA Board Meeting, Nov 14, 2022

Your HOA Board met Monday evening, November 14th.  All pond fountains have been removed for winterization. The Board continues to consider what actions to take regarding the Chancery fountain which had stopped working again. The source of the problem has not been determined and will require additional investigation. The fountain for the Villages’ Pond will need to be replaced.

Bollard light replacement for the central roundabout is pending a decision as the HOA Board is waiting for a quote from the vendor.

Weeds and underbrush along Morgantown Road that border Kensington Grove south of the Chancery Boulevard entrance are unsightly, tend to collect roadside trash, and pose a safety hazard for motorists.  The HOA’s budget for 2023 will need to include funds for maintenance of this landscape easement. A quote for cleanup is being sought.

It was brought to the HOA Board’s attention that one or more vehicles are being parked on the street for extended time periods.  Owners will be notified that they are in violation of the covenants and that their vehicle may be subject to being towed. A notice will also be posted on the website reminding residents of the parking restriction.

Preparations are being made for the annual meeting to be held early next year. Letters will be sent to homeowners in December with information about the meeting, including a call for interested persons to consider running for the Board. Representation is especially needed from the Villages and Estates sections.
