Dear Kensington Grove Residents,
During the December 2nd board meeting, the Board discussed a concern that has been affecting our community for some time: a growing number of incidents involving children knocking or kicking on doors and running away. This disruptive behavior has become increasingly common, and we are hopeful that by addressing it, we can bring it to an end.
If you have children in middle or high school, we kindly ask that you speak with them about this issue and emphasize the importance of respectful behavior toward neighbors. We also encourage you to share this message with other families who may have children in this age group, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
In addition to the these incidents, we have received reports of theft and property damage involving children in this age range. The individuals responsible have been recorded wearing black clothing and masks. At this time, Johnson County Sheriff are involved and actively investigating the matter.
We ask that if you experience any incidents of this nature or see any suspicious activity, please contact the Sheriff (Investigation Division: (317)346-4615 or Anonymous Tip Line: (317) 346-4654) immediately. By sharing this information with our children and neighbors, we hope to resolve the situation swiftly, preventing further disturbances and ensuring the safety of our community.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Kensington Grove a safe and respectful place for all residents.
